Rock 'n' Roll Flowers
Today, the model I was photographing was slightly different to what I am used to. It was for a friends PhD thesis. They were pretty awesome looking flowers, it was nice to photograph something different.
Sadly though, my beloved 50mm lens died in spectacular fashion while focusing. It was my first lens and has photographed some amazing bands over the past eight years, from Def Leppard to Alice Cooper. But it finally decides to give up while photographing some flowers. How Non-Rock 'n' Roll.

"Steve Kilbey" - Photoshoot
Last night I had a photoshoot with Australian Music legend, Steve Kilbey - Lead singer of "The Church".
He was down in his old hometown of Canberra doing a sold out solo show at Smiths Alternative in Civic.
The rain came in at the last minute so a quick location change was needed for the shoot but I think the shots turned out well. He was a real gentleman and one of the nicest musicians I have ever had the privilege of photographing.

"Alex" - Photoshoot
This afternoon I was going through some old photos from a pinup shoot I did with the lovely Alex, back in July 2012. I decided to share some more of my favourites with you.
Steel Panther - Hordern Pavilion
Last night I had the opportunity to drive to up to Sydney to photograph the brilliant and funny band, Steel Panther.
It was a fantastic but tough gig as I have just had my tonsils removed so wasn't in the best headspace to photograph a concert. I managed how ever to get some great photos, even with a ridiculously busy pit with about 15 photographers and videographers vying for the same shots.

Airbourne - ANU Bar
Tonight, I got to photograph an Aussie band that I have wanted to shoot for ages, Airbourne.
I certainly wasn't disappointed. It has been a while since I have been in "the pit" and it was great to be back. They were fantastic and a joy to photograph. Here are some of my favourites.
