The Whitlams - 25th Anniversary Tour

Hot on the heels of a photo of mine being used for the “Icehouse” 40th Anniversary Tour promotion, a photo of mine is being used to promote “The Whitlams” 25th Anniversary Tour in 2017. It was fantastic to get the chance to photograph this amazing Australian band, one that I have loved since I was a teenager.

It is a real honour to have a photo of mine tied to this important milestone.

A massive thank you to Tim Freedman, Jak, Terepai and Warwick from the band and also Kim and Tim.

Icehouse 40 Years Live!!!

So, I have some pretty awesome news that I have kept quiet about for a few weeks now.A photo I took of Iva Davies from the band "Icehouse" on their 2012 tour has been chosen for their 40 Years Live promotional material.

It will appear on posters, online and in other forms of advertising for their 40 Years Live Tour.

I am stupidly excited about this after 8 or so years of music photography; it is great to have people like a photo of mine enough to use in this way.

To be involved with a band like this, a band that I have loved and listened to (one of my all time favourite songs is by Icehouse) ever since I was a child, is amazing.

Thank you Iva, Icehouse Management & the very talented folks at Next Episode for turning my humble little photo into some pretty amazing art.

I will share more images and the poster when they are released. Please drop me a line if you see this out and about, I would love to know.

TONK 'Ruby Voodoo' Album Launch - ANU Bar

Tonight was the launch of album number two from Canberra band TONK. The follow up to the very popular "Sister Switchblade" is called "Ruby Voodoo" and it sounds awesome.

TONK have always been my favourite band to photograph and I have shot them countless times both in Canberra and interstate, since I first started photographing bands back in 2007. They are a top bunch of guys and deserve big things, lets hope this album brings it!

Thanks Jinx, Steve, Ben, Mikey, Matt. (& Tristan)

Here's to many many more gigs.
